ABIGAIL Vieira signed off her campaign at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland, with another creditable showing in the alpine skiing women's slalom event, on Tuesday.

Abigail Vieira is the first ever athlete from Trinidad & Tobago to participate at a Youth Olympic Games, and the first Alpine Skier from TTO to participate at any Olympic event.

WITH THE TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO FLAG WAVING AND HER PARENTS CHEERING AT THE FINISH LINE, ABIGAIL VIEIRA MADE HISTORY BY BECOMING THE FIRST ATHLETE FROM THE DUAL-ISLAND CARIBBEAN NATION TO COMPETE AT A WINTER YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES.
