ATTORNEY J Tyrone Marcus, representing a national cyclist who was stripped of his 2019 Pan Am Games medal, says no member of TT's successful cycling team tested positive for an anabolic steroid, masking agent, or "any other substance that may suggest an intention to cheat."

TT Olympic Committee (TTOC) 2019 Sportswoman of the Year, Teniel Campbell, is following in the footsteps of her mother, Euphenia Huggins, who previously laid a foundation of success throughout her decorated sporting career.

“In light of this persistent negative narrative, I am compelled to inform the national community that […] no member of the team tested positive for an anabolic steroid, masking agent, or any other substance that may suggest an intention to cheat or to gain an unfair competitive advantage over his competitors.”
